This post is for you to add in the comments – prayers, scriptures, encouragement, words, etc, throughout the day or just at the beginning or just at the end…whatever you want. The point is to encourage each other as we fast today and as we seek the heart of God for each other and the purpose of our team. Come back here throughout the day to see what your co-team members have posted. Be encouraged!
Love you guys!
Tiffany
I’ll start it off. 🙂
“Honor the LORD, you heavenly beings; honor the LORD for his glory and strength. Honor the LORD for the glory of his name. Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness.”
Psalms 29:1-2 NLT
Starting today by dedicating myself to draw near to Him. When we draw near to Him he draws near to us.
This is good! 2 Corinthians 10:4 states that the weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. Verse 5 stuck out to me today- ” We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we TAKE CAPTIVE EVERY THOUGHT to make it obedient to Christ.”
Paying close attention to my thoughts today. As Pastor Jay said yesterday, we have an open door and authority. Let’s walk through it and in it!
Looking forward to reading what God is speaking to you all!
That’s good Eslin! Making our thoughts obedient to Christ!
“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.”
Psalms 139:23-24
Current prayer during this “lunch” time. Everyone always says this is a dangerous prayer to pray. But, I want to know if anything in me offends God! Show it to me Lord. What you reveal – heal! So that I can be closer to you.
Psalm 19:14 NIV
“May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
Psalm 51:17 NLT
“The sacrifice you want is a broken spirit. A broken and repentant heart, O God, you will not despise.
Father God, my prayer for myself as well as out worship team, is for us to be careful what we watch, listen to, joke about, give attention to, or spend our time with/on. May we bring glory, honor, and praise to the Holy One who is worthy of all we have to offer!! Be lifted on high Mighty one of Israel!!!
Amen, Jamie 🙂
“I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God. I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.”
Ephesians 1:16-18
Praying for you guys today! You are His rich and glorious inheritance.
Today, I am learning to trust God on the little things. It is something how I can scale a wall, but shake at an ant. It is time to squash the little bug. So, we have stepped on to the big stage, now let’s step on the little bugs. “Sing the song of the Lord”.
