Together with Me

Hey Guys! How’s the fasting going today?

Just a quick note to let you know I’m praying for you. This morning as I was praying for you, I felt compelled to share this with you. We all know the scripture “Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16) I was praying that all of our hearts would experience an increased longing to be in the presence of God. From the moment we wake till moment we lay our head to the pillow at night-and even as we sleep. A continual walking together with God. That is what I kept hearing…”together with Me”. A friendship. And then this scripture came to mind.

What I felt God revealing was that the reason we can approach the throne of grace with confidence is because He WANTS us there. He desires to see us back again and again at His throne. We can approach with confidence because we know we are welcomed there. Any day, any hour. He is eager for our conversation and our friendship with him.

So as you fast today (and the next two days) remember how much the Creator of all the universe loves and desires to be with you. YOU! A humbling and comforting thought. Such love! When you seek Him you WILL find Him. (1 Chronicles 28:9).
