Hope I’m not tempting all those who are fasting, I’ll try not to be too descriptive ;), but I was thinking on a dream I had the week of the ministry night we had last month and wanted to share with you all.
In the dream, Eslin and I were cleaning up after some sort of event, there was a huge table overflowing with desserts and I told her to take anything she wanted, there was so much left over. The only thing I noticed missing from the whole table was a thin slice of cheesecake, and then she picked a chocolate covered strawberry.
I prayed over this for the next few days and felt it was about the ministry night. At first I was disappointed, thinking maybe we wouldn’t be taking all that God had for us. After that night I was sure that wasn’t it, but what was received was so little compared to what He has, so whatever was stirred in your heart, keep it in the forefront, be praying and expecting much! Something else He showed me, is that it was dessert and not a meal, dessert is not something we need but a treat, something special. Just as we said that night, don’t hold on to something just because “It’s always been that way” or you can “live with it.” Our heavenly Father gives good gifts and I’m believing for each one of us to receive what He has!
